We are excited to announce that the Women’s Film and Television History Network (WFTHN) is looking for a PhD student or Early Career Researcher to be the Film Blog Editor for our website.
As the Film Blog Editor, you will be responsible for:
- Curating and commissioning blog posts on various topics related to women’s film history, such as biographies, reviews, interviews, events, research projects, etc.
- Editing and proofreading blog posts for clarity, accuracy, style, and tone
- Managing the blog schedule and ensuring timely publication of blog posts
- Collaborating with the WFTHN committee and other members of the network
The ideal candidate for this position should have:
- A strong interest in and knowledge of women’s film, especially in the UK and Ireland
- Familiarity with WordPress or similar content management systems
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Availability to commit to the role for at least one year
This is a voluntary position that offers a valuable opportunity to showcase your work, network with other professionals and academics, and contribute to the WFTHN’s mission of advancing the recognition and study of women’s film and television history.
