The Women’s Film & Television History Network U.K./Ireland (WFTHN), is, as its name suggests, based in the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland. This resources section naturally reflects that. However, given the transnational nature of film-and television-making and the equal transnationality of developments in historiography, we want to include occasional entries concerning other countries where they seem generally significant and/or relevant to U.K. and Ireland research.
Because this is an ongoing and evolving resource and one which is being compiled by volunteers, it does not claim to be exhaustive, even with respect to the U.K. and Ireland. To help expand the breadth of material available, WFTHN members are invited to submit information in the various categories below.
