London Feminist Film Festival

The London Feminist Film Festival is due to take place on a weekend in November 2012 (exact dates tbc). The festival aims to counterbalance the mainstream film industry’s narrow representation of women and its neglect of women’s issues by showing a selection of films made by women filmmakers from around the world. The films will be feminist either in their representation of women and/or their handling of feminist issues. The Festival will screen feminist feature films, documentaries, and short films, made by women filmmakers around the world.

The LFFF is calling for submission now – deadline 31st August 2012.

For general rules and how to submit, see the LFFF Call for Submissions.
