The Glasgow Women’s Library is hosting a Radical Film Festival in late April.
On Friday 29th April there is a screening of MARCH a film championing radical women commissioned by GWL and RCS. This film documents a large scale public event ‘March of Women’ which took to the streets of Bridgeton, Glasgow on the eve of International Women’s Day in 2015. GWL’s Donna Moore will open the evening with an introduction to the film in relation to the March of Women project.
On Saturday 30th April from 6pm to 8pm it will host Feminist Films, Feminist Histories: an event exploring the making of feminist documentary and the history of feminist archiving and filmmaking since the start of the Women’s Liberation Movement.
